El videoclip feminista de Miley Cyrus que agitó a miles de fans

Entre el erotismo, los derechos de la mujer y la provocación circula el nuevo videoclip del, a su vez, nuevo tema de Miley Cyrus, Mother’s Daughter.

En un tema que la artista definió sin demasiada humildad como un “himno feminista”, Cyrus canta “no te metas con mi libertad, estoy sucia, soy el mal”. El empoderamiento, la machismo que considera a la mujer como a un objeto y la maternidad deseada serían los ejes principales de la canción. El tema forma parte de un nuevo EP de la cantante, llamado She is coming, que contendrá seis canciones.

Para la producción del clip participó la propia madre de Miley, Tish Cyrus., junto con las modelos Aaron Philip y Casi McArthur, la actriz Angelina Duplisea, la directora y compositora Mela Murder,  la patinadora Lacey Baker, la bailarina Amazon Ashley y la activista de apenas 11 años Mari Copeny.

I guarantee that you can't come up with a valid reason that isn't based in your own ego gratification. Stop it and do better! We humans have a lot to learn, but we can start by fighting our personal biases and permitting people of all genders, races, sexualities, sizes, abilities and health levels to live harassment-free lives. “Cada mujer es una revuelta” (“Every Woman is a riot”) se lee al comienzo del video, en el que se suceden pezones, mujeres con cuerpos diversos y Miley Cyrus, en un ajustado traje de latex rojo. “Ella tiene el poder, mírala, tiene el poder, así que no te metas con mi libertad”, canta la ex Hanna Montana, en otra parte del tema, quien ya tiene un recorrido extenso a favor del respeto de los derechos del colectivo LGBT y de las mujeres. En apenas siete horas el video ya tiene más de dos millones de visualizaciones.
